As an event planner, your busy everyday life includes tasks like handling client and partner calls, making (long!) lists and organizing site visits. With such little time available, it’s imperative that you make a little time to keep up with the latest trends and news in our industry. The best way to do this? Blogs!

Below are the top 3 reasons you should read blogs as an event planner and how to manage all of that great info:

There is nothing more inspiring for your event than taking a peep at other coordinators color schemes, decor and venues. After all, this isn’t math class, looking at your neighbors work is allowed and encouraged!

  2. it’s a tough area to get a job in. i just graduated with a mniketrag degree and i took a few classes online i learned nothing from them if anything, very little. I grad. may ’07 and I just got a job like a month ago and it has nothing to do with mniketrag lol. also if you want to be successful in this area your best bet would be to live in or around a major city if you don’t already.
